mustard hotel asakusa 1 surpassed my expectations during my cycling trip in tokyo. the onsen every day was a great stress reliever, and the staff's language skills were impressive. the cozy cafe/bar next door was perfect for grabbing food and practicing. great park nearby for workouts, and a convenient konbini across the street. no complaints :)

Great location, within walking distance of popular attractions and public transportation. Comfortable beds and clean facilities.- Helpful and friendly staff.
Limited cooking facilities, with staff unwilling to provide basic cooking utensils. Inconvenient layout, with showers and beds on different floors and only one private shower available.

The onsen and sauna were a great addition to our romantic escape. We loved spending time relaxing and rejuvenating in these facilities. The location of the hotel was perfect for our getaway. It was situated in a picturesque area with charming temples, shops, and bars, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. Everything was well-maintained and spotless, which enhanced the overall experience of our stay.
The noise level at the hotel was unbearable, especially during the night. We were given a room near the elevator and emergency exit, resulting in constant disruptions from people coming and going.

The hotel's central location is perfect for exploring the area, with the nearest metro station just a short walk away. Guests have praised the friendly staff for their clear explanations and helpfulness, particularly when it comes to check-out procedures. the sleeping area is clean and relatively quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep.
The elevator can be a bit slow during busy hours.

The hotel has a luxurious feeling, even though it's mostly dorms, with super clean, comfortable, and private bunk beds. the location is perfect, close to Asakusa station and the main attractions in the area. Free lemon water in the lobby saved us money, and they offered free luggage storage after check-out. the cheapest Yukata rental compared to other places we saw. English speaking staff and a public bath were great. the hotel has a 5-minute walk to Asakusa station, 30-minute walk to JR Ueno station, and is near the Sensoji temple and Don Quijote.
Felt right at home, no complaints.

As a Mustard Hotel hopper, I stayed here for three nights. It was a quick walk from Asakusa station, making it very accessible. Price was reasonable and the mixed dorm beds and toilets were clean. Plus, compared to another Mustard Hotel, this one had a sauna. I highly recommend using the sauna/Onsen, it was so relaxing after a long day. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and courteous.
Can recommend this hotel.
